LEWIS PARK

Public BBQ

This park, nestled under the shade of large gum trees, offers an array of activities and amenities. With exercise equipment, swings, and a toddler-friendly playground, it is a perfect spot for family outings. The park also includes tables and chairs for picnics and a short sandy walk leading to the beautiful flat seven-mile beach, known for its clean conditions and shell abundance. Some visitors have highlighted concerns about the maintenance of the park, especially the restroom facilities, and the potential safety risks posed by falling tree limbs. Despite this, the park's proximity to the beach, abundant wildlife, and serene environment make it a desirable place for a day out, a picnic, or a simple stroll.
